DIY Apps For Your Next Big Project
You believe that in order to have something done the right way, you have to do it yourself. I’m guessing you’re a big fan of DIY projects, right? There are so many people out there who prefer to do around-the-house projects themselves, rather than hire someone to do it for them.
DIY projects are great for saving a ton of money and you even get to learn something new. However, when you're taking on a DIY project, you may find that you still need a bit of help. Well guess what! There’s an app for that. Take out that smart phone we all know you have and take a quick look into the online DIY world. Everything from digital tools to organizers, there are tons of apps available to make your life a little easier when tackling these big projects.
One of the best apps for DIY lovers is called Handy Man. This app will act as a project manager and allow you to organize all of your upcoming projects. You can choose all of the materials you need for the project and the app will estimate a price point to complete the project. This will let you know what you’re getting yourself into before you even start. This makes it far easier to set a budget for your project and start planning. The app also allows you to search for tutorials on YouTube so you can follow along with a step-by-step instructional video if you need some assistance.
Home DIY, made by Craig Phillips is another great app that you can use when you're trying to tackle a DIY project. It helps you calculate how much wallpaper or paint you will need to cover a room or even how much tile you will need for your floor. No more coming up short or spending more than you have to. All you have to do it take a photo of the room an leave the rest up to the app. You can also create to-do lists and even material lists so you have everything on hand when you’re out at the store. There are in-app videos to provide step-by-step instructions for those trickier projects.
These 2 apps are just the tip of the iceberg. Get on the app store and check out what else your fellow DIYer’s have to offer. From flashlights to levels, so many great tools are just a click away. There is no reason to go at it alone when you can have all these great features at your fingertips.
